Today was CRAFT DAY!
We started the day out doing a simple craft that, I believe, one of the kids' grandmas (sorry, I don't remember which one, but it was when they were both here TOGETHER! :) ) got for them. They used markers and colored pictures that were already printed on wood. A great craft for Owen!
While her big sister and big brother were coloring, Letty just enjoyed hanging out! She has started this new thing that almost every time she sees the camera pointing at her, she automatically starts to smile! :-) She's so cute! She really had fun, too - can't you tell?!?
Letty had so much fun in the morning that she couldn't even stay awake to eat all of her lunch! Then, we started in to our more serious craft. We decided to make a snowman magnet craft to give especially to all of our church's nursery and jr. church teachers and helpers as a way to thank them for their service over this past year and for all of the time and energy they devoted to our kids!
Ivy got to glue the materials together...
Again, before we went to bed, we worked on our memory verse (John 3:16) and read about God's promise to Abraham of Abraham's heirs numbering as many as the stars in the sky from the book of Genesis.
And he [the LORD] brought him [Abraham] outside and said, "Look toward heaven, and number the stars, if you are able to number them." Then he said to him, "So shall your offspring be." And he believed the LORD, and he counted it to him as righteousness. ~Genesis 15:5-6
