maine vacation ~ thuya garden

Welcome to MY garden! Ok, well, maybe it's not my garden, BUT if I had a flower garden, I'm sure this is what it would look like! Ok, well, maybe this is what I would hope my garden would look like if I ever would finally have one. (Considering I was born with white or purple or pink or blue or whatever color you want to choose other than green thumbs, I don't think that will ever happen!)

This spot was a neat little find though. It was called Thuya Garden. I learned about this place from a book I had borrowed from our local library before going on our vacation. I believe the book was entitled Off the Beaten Path in Maine or something along those lines. The garden was absolutely gorgeous and breathtaking. I could have spent a LONG time here just soaking in the delicious and sweet smell of the flowers and just gazing at all of the big, beautiful and luscious flowers.

Owen loved looking at all of the bees buzzing around the flowers. I think he even attempted to pet some of the bees as well. I'm sure glad he didn't actually get to pet one though!Ivy loved being our little tour guide from the garden. She had her map and led the way!It was a great spot to take some pictures too...
