pizza & wings

After leaving Delaware, we made the 7-hour trip to Grampa & Gramma Zipf's house in Pennsylvania. Anytime we go home to PA, we always get together with Nathan's cousin and his family, who have become some of our family's closest and most treasured friends. (There are not enough words to describe how grateful we are for the friendship we have with this family BUT that can wait for another blog post.)

This trip was no exception. We went over to Tyler, Natalia, and Abbie's house for a night of pizza and wings - always an incredible treat when we are home as we just haven't been able to find a great wing place where we live. Tyler and Nat also had one of my favorite and uncontainable indulgences - chips and dip! They know how to spoil us! :0)

After dinner, we all got to sit down and chat with one another while the kids got to play with each other. Abbie was kind enough to share her toys and books with Ivy, Owen, and Letty.

Yes, I do exist! I'm usually the one behind the camera, but I do get into an occasional picture. I love this picture...Abbie is looking at me and most likely thinking, "This lady is so weird and nutty!" :0)

And then she's probably thinking, "This lady is so funny looking. I love laughing at her!"
And finally, she decided, "I guess I can put up with the weird, nutty, funny-looking lady to get a picture taken with her." :0)

This is our attempt to get all of the kids together for a picture...

In the spirit of thanksgiving, we are so thankful for these friends and so thankful that we could spend some time together with them!
