Papa & Grandma O. Visit

Reservations for the Zipf Sleep & Stay are made at least a year in advance for this time of year, and this year was no exception...my parents, Papa Snack and Grandma O., came to visit this year during part of Fair week. Did I ever mention how much we LOVE it when we have guests stay with us??? We do...seriously...it is ALWAYS great to spend time with loved ones and see a familiar face in a sometimes unfamiliar place.

The day they arrived, we decided to go north to leaf peep in the Notch. As Nathan and I were planning to get our family picture taken at the exact spot where we had our picture taken the first time I had visited Nathan in New Hampshire, something happened. A bicyclist had wrecked in the middle of the road and injured himself. Well, when you are married to a trooper, duty calls no matter what, so Nathan hiked down to help with the situation for the next couple hours.

And, we settled for a kids picture at the spot instead.

Papa and Grandma's visit also included some visits to the Fair (of course!), meals with friends, leaf peeping, and lots of action at home.
