Letty - one month old (already!?!)

Letty,
At 1 month old, you weigh about 10 pounds. You sleep about 6-7 hours at night and have fallen into a nice little routine of feeding every 3-3 1/2 hours during the day.You love your big sister Ivy and your big brother Owen already. You three are going to be such great friends and siblings - I can already see it. You love this musical giraffe toy and this toy book that makes a paper crunching noise as you hold onto it. You are starting to bat at toys and grab hold of a ring or a rattle if we put it into your hand. You are also holding your head sturdier so those little neck muscles are strengthening. You have already flown in an airplane! (You did that when you were 6 days old!)You cry A LOT, and you cry VERY LOUD. (But, I guess you have to if you want to be heard in this house over your two busy and noisy siblings.) The best way to describe your cry is ear-piercing - it is the kind of cry that you cannot hear anything else but your cry. The only thing cute about your cry is you do this little lip quiver thing when you start REALLY crying. You do not like to have any bubbles in your belly, which you seem to get a lot of, and when those bubbles come out, they are loud - loud enough that I would think the whole neighborhood could hear them. You do not like laying on your side which seems to be causing some problems when your Mama tries to feed you.I love to hear your snorting sound you make with your nose as you try to find your Mama. You also do this cute little shaking thing with your leg that almost reminds me of when you pet a dog in just hte right spot, its leg shakes uncontrollably. :oPLetty, we feel so blessed that the Lord has entrusted us with you. We feel that our family is now complete having you in it. Our prayer for you as you grow is that you will grow healthy and strong, both physically and in the ways of the Lord.We love you, Letty! It's so hard to believe that you are 1 month old ALREADY!!??!!Love,
Daddy and Mommy
